How It Works:

1. Chlorine Taste & Odor Reduction: Tap water first passes through a carbon block to reduce odors and improve taste. A poly-spun shell surrounds the block to remove sediment and extend its life.

2. Contaminant & Impurity Reduction: Water then flows through the reverse osmosis membrane, which removes a broader range of impurities. The membrane separates contaminants, sending them to the drain, while directing purified water to the next stage. Vita Filters™ RO membrane is more efficient, reducing water waste compared to standard membranes.

3. Dual Carbon Block Protection: Water passes through dual carbon blocks with lead-reduction media, which further reduces chlorine, cysts, lead, atrazine, sediment, and lindane.

4. Better Tasting Water: In the final stage, water goes through a granular activated carbon (GAC) filter, polishing it to enhance taste before being stored in the 3.2-gallon tank for later use.

Do you need a special faucet for reverse osmosis?
Yes, the system includes a separate RO faucet. This allows your kitchen sink faucet to remain available for cleaning, while the RO faucet is used for drinking, cooking, and rinsing.
