1. Chlorine Taste & Odor Reduction: Tap water passes through a carbon block designed to reduce odors and taste, and a poly-spun shell is wrapped around the carbon block to lower sediment and protect the carbon block’s life.
2. Contaminant and Impurities Reduction: Water then flows via the reverse osmosis membrane, which reduces a wider range of impurities and contaminants in your home's water. The membrane separates the water that contains the contaminant and sends it down to the drain while pushing most of the pure water into the next stage. Vita Filters™ RO membrane lessens the quantity of water waste compared to standard membranes in the market.
3. Dual Carbon Block Protection: Tap water passes through a group of dual carbon blocks with lead reduction media. This block reduces chlorine odor & taste, cysts, lead, atrazine, sediment, and lindane.
4. Better Tasting Water: Then, water passes through the final stage, a GAC (granular activated carbon) filter, which reduces contaminants that remain while “polishing” the water to give you water that tastes better. Then, this water is stored in a 3.2-gallon storage tank that contains the water until you’re ready for clearer water that tastes better.

The best feature of an under-sink Reverse Osmosis water filtration system is that its faucet is included. Your kitchen sink faucet could be used for cleaning and washing dishes, while the RO faucet installed separately can be used for rinsing glasses, cleaning, cooking, and drinking.
