Armor Shield creates a protective barrier between the vinyl pool liner and the vermiculite, soil, or sand base. Unlike standard padding made of foam, Armor Shield is composed of polypropylene geotextile material that resists slices and punctures—typically caused by sharp stones, invasive roots, or even shards of broken glass. It also provides insulation to help prevent heat loss and adds a cushioned floor pad for swimmers.
