Return Policy

We want you to feel confident shopping with Vita Pool Supply. Returns are accepted within 30 days for new, unused items in the original packaging. If your order arrives damaged or defective, we’ll make it right.

Standard Returns:

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Photo of item is required for all returns (photo of box if unopened)
  • Items must be new, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • We do not accept used returns.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. You may either:
    • 1.) Use our prepaid label (return shipping will be deducted from your refund, see flat rates below), or
    • 2.) Use your own carrier and receive a full refund from us (excluding original shipping charges).

Return shipping option 1: Prepaid label (flat-rate return shipping)

  • Pumps / Motors / Automation systems (all types): $95 per item
  • Pool / Spa lights (all types): $35 per item
  • Salt systems & components: $45 per item
  • Spa packs / Spa heaters: $48 per item
  • Misc. small items: $28 per item
  • Pool filters / Pool heaters (all LTL freight items): Quoted case-by-case (typically $650–$1,300) plus applicable restocking fees

Return shipping option 2: Use your own carrier

You may also ship the item back using your preferred carrier at your expense for a full refund from us. Tracking is required. You must provide tracking information to ensure proper credit once the item is received.

Important: If you choose your own shipping method, we are not responsible for any damage during transit. Please package the item securely and add insurance.

How to Request a Return:

  • Login here with your email (we’ll send a one-time code — no account needed).
  • Find your order and click “Request Return.”
  • Select a reason, add notes if needed, and submit.
  • Reply to the return confirmation email with photos of your item.
  • Our team will review and respond quickly

Damaged or Defective:

If your order arrives damaged or defective, we’ll take care of it quickly.

  • Standard Deliveries: Email or text photos of all four sides of the box and the damaged item to: support@vitafilters.com. Let us know if you’d prefer a refund or replacement.
  • Freight Deliveries:
    • If the shipment is visibly damaged, please refuse delivery — we’ll reship right away.
    • If you accept the delivery, note “SUBJECT TO INSPECTION” on the Bill of Lading, sign, and take photos. Then email us with details at support@vitafilters.com.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • “New open box” or refurbished items
  • Pool chemicals
  • Opened electronics, automation systems, keypads, controls, or remotes
  • Above-ground pools
  • UV bulbs
  • Additional exclusions may be listed on product pages
  • Special Order and Custom Order items

Refused or Undeliverable Orders:

  • Refused or undeliverable shipments are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Round-trip shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.

Return Inspections:

  • All returns are inspected to confirm they are complete, unused, and in new, sellable condition.
  • Refunds are issued once the inspection is approved — usually within 5-10 business days.
