- Watch for changes in your water:Â Be sure to replace your filters whenever you notice a decline in performance, whether it is a drop in flow rate or an unusual taste in the water.
- Check your water pressure:Â Check the pressure gauge when water is flowing. If the pressure gauge needle falls into the red zone, it's time to replace your cartridges.
- Replace filters every 6 months:Â When it's time to replace your cartridges, take a permanent marker and write the date you're replacing them right on the new cartridges. Then, change them in six months for the most proactive protection.
WHY CHANGE YOUR WATER FILTER?
You might be surprised what you'll find if you don't change the cartridge in your commercial water filtration system. A dirty filter equals dirty water. This can cause significant corrosion to expensive equipment and result in off-tasting food and drink.
