The Manitowoc K-00337 water pre-filter cartridge should be used to replace an old cartridge on a Manitowoc AR-PRE pre-filter assembly. It has a 5-micron rating, so it can capture large particulates, minerals, and scale from water before it goes to the primary filter assembly. That can help extend the service life of the primary filter and the ice machine. A quick-change design helps protect the filter media from contamination during cartridge changes.
