For a 22,000-gallon pool, we typically recommend at least a 200K BTU heater, with 250K to 400K BTU being ideal, depending on how quickly you want the pool to heat. If you want the fastest heat-up and best overall performance, the 400K BTU MasterTemp is usually the best choice.
