The Royal Entrance II mounts to the deck using the included deck supports. Per the manufacturer’s installation guide, you first slide the deck supports onto the top posts and adjust them to the height of the deck. Then the deck supports are affixed directly to the deck with the supplied screws, and finally, the supports are fastened to the rear posts of the step while pushing the step downward to create tension and hold it in place.
