To change the light bulb in your inground pool, first turn off the power to the pool light at the breaker. Then, remove the light fixture from its niche, bring it to the pool deck, open the fixture, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Make sure the gasket is properly sealed before reinstalling the fixture back into the pool.
