You may need to replace your salt cell if your pool water is not staying clean, you see a "Low Salt" or "Cell Warning" message on your control panel, or if there is excessive buildup or visible damage on the cell plates. Additionally, if cleaning the cell does not restore normal function, it's likely time for a replacement.
