Most above-ground pools are designed to be installed as a DIY project with 2 to 3 capable adults, especially when you follow the manufacturer’s installation manual and videos step by step. Most customers either (1) DIY it, (2) hire a handyman or landscaper mainly for site prep and leveling, then assemble the pool themselves, or (3) hire a dedicated above-ground pool installer where available.
What we recommend (and what matters most):
The most important part is ground prep and drainage. If you want to hire help, a common approach is to pay a local pro to excavate, level, and prep the base, then DIY the wall, frame, liner, and fill. If you prefer full service, we can point you toward installer options in your area when we know them, but availability and pricing can vary by region and season.
Please call, text, or email us your ZIP code and city, and we’ll let you know if we have someone we can recommend. Thank you!
